David Norman Hanni, Sr., 64, entered the presence of "his maker" on Thursday, May 16, 2019 in St. Luke's Hospice House surrounded by his loving family. Upon his request his body will be donated to " Science Fiction".

Born in Easton on Feb 14 , 1955 ,  he was a son of the late Louis and Lucy (Arcadipane) Hanni. He was a 1974 graduate of Wilson Area High School. He was employed by Ivy Investments prior to his death . David was an avid fly fisherman and enjoyed listening to U2 music .

David was married to the former Bonnie Weaver.

In addition to his wife, David is survived by sons, David N. Hanni, Jr. and wife Katie, Nathaniel A. Hanni and companion Kristen Craig, and Clayton W.L. Hanni and wife Stephanie. He is also survived by his two granddaughters Mackenzie and Madison Hanni; sister Mary Sobrinski and her husband Patrick Sobrinski; brothers, Louis Hanni Jr and his wife Dixie, Paul Hanni and his companion Amy Lukow, Stephen Hanni and his wife Odette, Norman Hanni and his wife Elizabeth and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. David is also survived by his companion of 12 years Darla Stevens; her daughters, Nicole Werner and Leigh Redman and Darla's granddaughters Scarlet and Sophia.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 9am to 12pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Palmer Twp. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp. Online Condolences may be offered at www.morellofuneralhome.com.
