David P. Wambold, 62, of Easton, passed away on July 2, 2022 in his home. Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, on June 21, 1960, he was a son of the late John E. and Margaret R. (Baka) Wambold. He graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1978. Shortly after high school he enlisted in the United States Navy. David worked as a draftsman for Warren Controls and various other jobs throughout his life.

David was of the catholic faith and grew up attending St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Phillipsburg. He was an incredibly talented artist whose gifts ranged from drawing, wood carving, and playing the guitar. He enjoyed being outside and liked to go fishing and hiking whenever he could.

He is survived by his children: Max Wambold; Vanessa Wambold; a grandchild; brother, Jeffrey Wambold and wife Sandra; and several nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Gail E. Wambold in 2017 and a brother, Edward J. Wambold in 2021.
