Deborah A. Nunes, 62, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018 in St. Luke's Hospital.

Deb was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of Joseph M. Nunes, and the late Eleanor (Lomonski) Nunes.

Deb was the Health Choices Administrator for Northampton County, where she worked for over 30 years. A 1974 graduate of Easton High School, Deb held the state record for the most RBI's in softball was a member of Easton's first female track team and Easton's women's basketball and field hockey teams. She continued playing sports at Lock Haven University and coached for local teams for many years thereafter. She received her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Frostburg State University. Deborah loved to go to Sands Casino; enjoyed gardening, cats, and making people laugh. She loved spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

Deborah is much loved and will be greatly missed by her father, sister Nina Nunes-McCarthy of Bethlehem; brother Joseph A. Nunes and wife Mary Ellen of Easton; nephew Ryan McCarthy and niece Kathryn Nunes.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Tuesday from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9 ^th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
