Dianna Raso Easton, PA Dianna "Dee Dee" Theresa Raso, beloved daughter of Mrs. Paula (Hurtt) Raso and the late Dr. Dominick Raso, succumbed to a long illness. She was born on July 2nd, 1954 in Peekskill, NY. She is a graduate of Easton Area High School and the University of Mississippi. Dianna ran her father's thriving medical practice as lead administrative assistant for 35 years. She was often referred to as "Dr. Dianna." Dianna had many loves in her life; the most important were her dachshunds. She had several over the years: Heidi, Rudy, Snickers, Yacha, and finally Coco Chanel who continues to bring such joy to us. Her dachshunds were a fixture in her father's office. Dianna was a fabulous chef. She devoured cookbooks and constantly experimented with new recipes. She enjoyed the cooking channel and dining in some well known restaurants. Her favorites were French, like Le Bec Fin. What should always be remembered is her enormous heart. Dianna was always our "go to gal." If there was a need in the family she was there to help, selflessly. Many a times she would help with the young children when their parents had to work. Through the years, she babysat nieces, nephews, and later great nieces and great nephews. Not enough can be said about Dianna's generous nature. She has always been an integral part of our family. The loss of this terrific woman is a deep wound in our clan. She is survived by her sisters, Dr. Dominique Raso Bailey Andersen and her husband Roy, Mrs. Gabriella Todd and husband Mark, brothers Dr. Jon Raso and wife Eileen, Dominic Raso and wife Amy, and Anthony Raso and wife Susan. She is predeceased by her sister Dr. Paula Raso Cooper, brother Andre Raso, brother Joseph, and sisters Anne and Angela. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
