Obituary

Dolores M. Stout (also known to many as Skip), 68, of Easton, PA formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ passed away on Thursday August 27, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Dolores was born in Easton, PA and was the daughter of the late Stewart S. Jr. and Mildred (Shay) Woolf. Dolores was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School, class of 1964. She worked for many years in the Phillipsburg School district as a secretary and as a teachers aide. She then worked as a medical transcriptionist at Warren County Public Health Nursing Agency in Washington, NJ for over 25 years. Dolores most favorite job and the one she prided herself most with, was dedicating her life to her loving husband of 49 years Robert F. Stout, her children, grandchildren and her beloved dog Mylo. To know Dolores was to love her. Dolores loved life and enjoyed living it to the fullest. She especially loved going to Disney World and Mrytle Beach with her family. Dolores was so proud of her family and the close bond that they share. Dolores had an amazing ability to light up a room when she entered it. Her smile, gentleness, and caring manor would make everyone around feel comfortable. She also had the most amazing sense of humor with a laugh to match. Her laugh alone could make others laugh. Dolores had a main belief in life that family does not always need to be blood. Her home was always open and she was like a second mother to many. She gave nothing but unconditional love and support to all. Dolores in her last few days selflessly became an organ donor through The Gift of Life. She is now a hero to many families that she does not know. Dolores is survived by her loving husband: Robert Stout; two daughters: Victoria S. Cowell and her husband Michael, of Bangor, and Samantha S. Protyniak and her husband Steven, of Palmer Twp., four grandchildren: Michael, Teddy, Jonathan, and Natalie; two brothers: Stewart S. Woolf III and his wife Susan, of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Richard C. Woolf and his wife Kathy, of Moore Twp., several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog: Mylo. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and an additional calling hour on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street Easton, PA ( Palmer Twp). Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Phillipsburg, NJ.
