Domenico M. Bubba, 75, of Palmer Twp., passed away Sunday July 2, 2017 in Gracedale Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 5, 1941 in Caraffa di Catanzaro, Italy, a son of the late Gennaro and Elizabeth (Manarino) Bubba. Domenico was employed as a contractor for several years working with Calantoni Construction, Rite-Way Construction and also self-employed. He was an avid gardener and took great pride in his garden. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, bocce and quoits. Domenico and his loving wife Elisabetta Connie Bubba were going to celebrate 50 years of marriage this December. Domenico was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, in Easton and the American Legion Brown and Lynch Post of Palmer Twp. In addition to his wife, Domenico is survived by son Gennaro Jerry Bubba and his wife Janel of Plainfield Twp., daughter Isabella Manesis and her husband Aristidis, of Durham Twp., sister Nancy Sulla, of Bethlehem Twp., Anna Moncusso , of Perugia, Italy, brother Frank Bubba , of Palmer Twp., grandchildren Gennaro, Sophia, Ariella, Dimitrios, and Alessia .In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers, Luigi, Joseph, and Russell Bubba.
