Donald Joseph Farole, 71 of Palmer Twp. passed away Friday October 30, 2009 in Manor Care, Palmer Twp. Born: He was born on May 15, 1938 and grew up in Rosetto, PA a son of the late Anthony and Lucy Policelli Farole. Personal: Donald and his wife, the former Cathleen Hueffmeyer celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary last December. He was employed as a draftsman and mechanical designer for Reismeier Engineering formerly of Bethlehem and later for Joseph Biro Engineering of Bethlehem retiring in 2002. Donald served his country in the US Navy during peacetime. He was a graduate of Bangor High School class of 1956. Memberships: Donald was a member of St. Jane Frances De Chantal Catholic Church in Palmer Twp. Survivors: In addition to his wife Cathleen, Donald is survived by sons Donald Jr. and wife Olga of New York, Thomas C. and wife Monica of Washington DC, Stephen M. of Arlington, VA; daughters Laura McBrearty and husband Kevin of Upper Macungie, Kristen Farole of Washington DC; a sister Doris Caracio of Eagles Mare, PA; brothers Gary Farole of Sewickley, PA, Anthony Farole of Phoenixville, PA and grandchildren Connor, Gavin McBrearty, Nicholas and Luisa Farole. Services: Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 10:00am until 12:00pm in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at noon in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
