Dorothy Colleen (Dillon) Alfonso, 59, of Easton, PA, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy recently relocated back to Easton, PA to be closer to her children and grandchildren.

She was the wife of Thomas J. Alfonso they celebrated 37 years of marriage on December 20, 2017.

Born in Riverside, California, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Edith (Walsh) Dillon. Colleen enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.

Colleen graduated from El Paso High School class of 1977. She then attended University of Texas to major in Speech Pathology. She was a preschool teacher at Vitalistic Therapeutic Charter School in Bethlehem and later worked at Coral Springs Community Church Day School in Florida until her retirement in September 2015. She was a member of Coral Spring Community Church in Coral Springs, FL and also Epworth United Methodist Church in Bethlehem.

In addition to her husband, Thomas, Colleen is survived by three sons, Thomas W. Alfonso of Illinois, Brian Alfonso and wife Janine of Easton and Timothy R. Alfonso of Easton; two granddaughters, Rosalyn and Adalynn Alfonso; a sister, Shelly Rodriguez and husband Frank of El Paso, TX; and two brothers, Barry Dillon and Wife Linda of Stafford, VA and Craig Dillon of San Antonio, TX.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11:30 AM at Epworth United Methodist Church, 3245 Oakland Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18020. There will be an additional memorial service held on Saturday April 28, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Coral Springs Community Church, 3266 NW 99th Way, Coral Springs, FL 33065.
