Name: Edna F. Gittings, 82, of Easton, passed away Monday, March 7th, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. Born: Edna was born on January 24, 1929, in Alpha, NJ, a daughter of the late Dominic and Rosa Bonadies Paoletti. Personal: Edna worked as a packer for Binney & Smith, retiring in 1991. She was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School. She was married to James Gittings who passed away November 7, 2004. Memberships: Edna was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church. Survivors: Edna is survived by her sons David Gittings and his wife Sherry of Wilson Boro, Michael Gittings of Moore Twp.; brothers Prosper Paoletti and his wife Frances of Forks Twp., John Paoletti and his wife Gloria of San Clemente, CA, Peter Paoletti and his wife Marie of Walpole, NH; grandchildren Jocelyn Bennicoff, Jason Gittings; a special friend Francine; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by sisters Mary Paoletti, Santina Messina; brothers Tony, Victor, Albert, and Julius Paoletti. Services: Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and also Saturday from 8:00 am to 9:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
