Edna Mae (Greenlee) Hooper Jones, 87, of Easton, passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Born on July 7, 1934, in Fairmont, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Evelyn (Green) and Alex Greenlee, Sr. She graduated from Dunbar High School, in Fairmont, West Virginia and later earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from West Virginia State College. Edna taught at the Girls Trade School and Montgomery Street School in Newark, NJ. She would later become the school district's Basic Skills Coordinator, retiring after many years.

She was a member of Fountain Baptist Church in Summit, NJ and looked forward to the services there. Edna loved spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Edna is survived by her son, Wilbur Hooper, Jr., of Easton; granddaughters, Jennifer Clay and husband, Lee, Toni Gayle and husband, Joshua, Kristin Hooper, Felicia Hooper and husband, Ryan Willis, Olivia Hooper, and Catherine Hatcher and husband, Charles; and 9 great grandchildren.

In additions to her parents, Edna was predeceased by her first husband Wilbur Hooper, Sr.; her second husband, Alvin Jones; a son, Arthur Tyrone Hooper; sisters, Evelyn Lewis, Katherine Greenlee, and Mary Bell Angle; brothers, William Greenlee and Alex Greenlee, Jr.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday June 30, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp) followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM.  Internment will take place at Gethsemane Cemetery, Easton, PA.
