Edward H. Bearby, Jr., 73, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital - Anderson Campus.

Born December 10, 1944 in Chicago, he was the son of Edward H. and Melva (Demas) Bearby, Sr.

Edward was married to Laura (Bankert) Bearby; they celebrated 26 years of marriage on July 11, 2018.

Edward entered the U.S. Navy in 1961 and proudly served during the Vietnam War until being honorably discharged in 1974.

In addition to his wife, Edward is survived by four sons, Eddie Bearby and wife Cheri, Dustin Bearby and wife Diana, Eric Jak, Jr. and wife Angelica, and Jermaine Halsey and wife Verlitta; a daughter, Sarah Jak; ten grandchildren, Justin, Jared, Jenna, Antonio, Shayna, Tanner, Dominic, Eric III, Janai, and Laila; and one great-granddaughter Gabriella. He is also survived by two sisters Linda Murn and Deborah Precin and husband Gary.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 2, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer twp.). A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
