Obituary

Name: Edward J. Lambert, 88, of Forks Twp., passed away on Friday, December 3rd, in Easton Hospital. Born: Edward was born on February 2, 1922, in Easton, PA, a son of the late George and Alice Nee Lambert. Personal: Edward worked as a Crew Chief for Met-Ed in Forks Twp. before retiring in 1984. Edward and his wife Beverly Leamon Lambert celebrated 37 years of marriage on September 7th. He served in the US Army during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. He was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1943. Memberships: Edward was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church. He served on the Northampton County Board of Elections for 15 years, and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Edward is survived by his daughter Gail Alice Anderson of Swartz Creek, Michigan; a brother John Lambert of Hammandsport, NY; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his first wife the former Mary Peg Lillian Sutphen, and his sister Jean Lambert Hancewicz. Services: A calling hour will be held on Monday from 8:15am to 9:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am in St. Bernards Oratory, 132 S. 5th Street, Easton, PA. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Memorial Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mercy Church, 132 S. 5th Street, Easton, PA 18042, or to Disabled American Veterans, P.O.
