Edward P. Scrafano, 90, of Easton, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, July 15, 2019 in his home.
Edward was born in Easton, PA, a son of the late Carmello and Grace (Brasso) Scrafano.
Edward was married to the former Elizabeth Lou Kreis until her passing in 2013. He was a Graduate of Easton High School, class of 1946. He worked for Schiable's Bakery in shipping and receiving, and was also co-proprietor of the former Ken's Delicatessen of Easton, until retiring in 1990. He was a Phillies and Eagles Fan.
Edward was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, where he volunteered as usher for 60 years, and was a member of the Holy Name Society.
Edward is survived by sons Edward C. Scrafano and wife Sharon of Stockertown, Gary Scrafano and wife Glynnis of Ontario, Canada; a daughter Donna Scrafano of Bethlehem; grandchildren Kimberly Scrafano and wife Tracy, Cheryl Getz and husband Terry, Jamie Howey, Amy Jo West and husband Kenny, Edward Howey and wife Marci, Ronald Scrafano Jr. and wife Megan, Lauren Scrafano, Corbeau Scrafano; great-grandchildren Mariah, Jaziah, Alexis, Aaliyah, Quincy, Lucas, Dylan, Jianna, Jenesis, Jayden, Eliana, Maya, and Jaylianna. In December of 2019, Edward's first great-great-granddaughter, Ella Rose will be born. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by a son Ronald Scrafano; his brothers Carl and Richard Scrafano.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Friday from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9 th & Lehigh Streets, Easton. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
