Edward P. "Ed" Snyder, 93, of Palmer Twp. passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospice. Born on April 13, 1932 in Nazareth, PA, he was the son of the late Claude and Elsie (Zellner) Snyder.
He graduated from Nazareth High School in 1951 and proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War from January, 1953 until December, 1954. In February of 1969, Ed married the love of his life, Susan (Morrow). He was employed as a lab technician for Binney & Smith (now Crayola) for 30 years before retiring in 1991. Ed was an avid NASCAR, and Philadelphia Eagles fan.
In addition to his loving wife, Susan (Morrow) Snyder, Ed is survived by his sons, Edward P. Snyder, Jr. of Northampton, Tim Snyder of Allentown; daughter, Cyndi Leiby of Allentown; three granddaughters; five great-granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews.
Ed was preceded in death by his sisters, Marie Knowles, Helen Fehr, Anna Mack, Betty Murante, Marlene Manini; and brothers, Raymond, Claude, Leon, Norman, Carl and Earl Snyder.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) with a memorial service at 7:30 pm.
