Eileen M. Pfeffer, 89, of York, PA passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 with her loving family by her side. Born on November 27, 1934 in Fond du Lac, WI, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Ebba (Thollen) Ostergren. She graduated from Phillipsburg High School, class of 1953. She earned her degree in nursing from Muhlenberg Hospital School of Nursing in Plainfield, NJ. Eileen was an RN, Nursing Manager and Director of Central Registration at Easton Hospital until she retired in 1997.

She was a member of St. Paul's Third Lutheran Church in Easton. She enjoyed singing in the church choir. She was a former member of the Ambassador Club. When she relocated to York, PA to be with her daughter, she still continued to be very active, joining the Women's Friendship Club of York, traveling and socializing with family and friends and attending sporting events.

Eileen is survived by her sons, William C. Pfeffer III and his wife, Laura of Pen Argyl; John Pfeffer and his wife, Lynn of Easton; daughter, Terrie Pfeffer of York; sister, Nannette Clauser and her husband, Chuck of York; grandchildren, William C. Pfeffer IV, Brittney Pfeffer; Taylor Pfeffer, and Breanne Granger.

A calling hour will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a memorial service at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp. Memorial contributions may be made in Eileen's name to St. Paul's Third Lutheran Church, 2561 Newburg Road, Easton, PA 18045.
