Eileen Silverstein, 87, of Easton passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Arden Courts with her family by her side. Born in Brooklyn, NY on February 8, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Janet (Smith) Sulzer. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School where she was the class valedictorian. Eileen later earned her bachelor's degree and began work as an office manager for Telecar when she lived in New York.

Eileen was a talented artist and enjoyed painting. She loved to travel to see new cities and take in the sites. She always liked going out to eat and spending time with her family and friends.

Eileen is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary Winkler; grandchildren, Nicole Langan and her husband, Matt; Brian Winkler and his wife, Ashley; Anika Winkler; Jordan Winkler; and Robyn Silverstein; great grandchildren, Leah, Brooklyn, Declan, and Seth. She also leaves behind the Silverstein family, Lisa and Susan Silverstein Lesser, husband Howie and children Randi, Steven, and Sam; cousins, Alan Sulzer and his wife, Alberta; Gaye Sussman Markson and her husband, Jonathan; and Niece Nancy Torelli and her husband, Louis. Eileen will also be fondly remembered by her childhood friend, Carol Weinshenker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Martin J. Silverstein in 2000, her son, Scott A. Winkler in 2011, and a brother, Richard Sulzer.

Calling hours will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2024 at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). A prayer service will be held at 2:30 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be offered at www.morellofuneralhome.com.
