Elaine Dian Molnar, 75, of Harmony Township, NJ passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020 in her daughter's home surrounded by her son-in-law and her daughter. Elaine was born at East Stroudsburg Hospital, now known as St. Luke's Monroe Campus on July 31,1945.
She was the daughter of the late Edwin Miller and Kathryn (Kattie) Stoll Miller of Bangor, PA. She was the youngest of four children. Elaine was a graduate of Bangor High School Class of 1963.
Elaine lived life to the fullest. Growing up on a dairy farm helped prepare her for a variety of work experiences with common sense and a hard work ethic. As a young adult, she worked at King Cole Grove and J. Hirum Buchman in Belvidere, NJ. It was at Buchman's that she met the man she would fall in love with and marry, her husband Joe. She was married to him for 44 years until his passing in August 2015; however, she remained committed to him until her passing making them married for 49 years. With her marriage to Joe, she began employment as a bookkeeper for her entire career, for various fire protection sprinkler companies.
Elaine fought many battles over her adult life, but she always came out on top. Her devout belief in the Lord was what gave her the ability to be a fighter, a warrior, and a survivor. She did not believe in giving up even during the most difficult times. She would say, "Better me, then one of my kids." She took each day as a blessing and would often comment that she thanked the Lord each morning for giving her the strength to wake up and that He could go and save another soul who needed him more. Her selflessness was a trait she bestowed upon many.
Elaine is survived by her daughter, Dr. Tracie Jo Stump, her son-in-law and Dunkin' Donut coffee buddy, Gary Stump, along with her two most prized possessions, "her boy", grandson Tyler Joseph, and "her honey girl", granddaughter Emalee Patricia, all of Forks Township. In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by two sisters and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her best friend of 61 years Linda Cominsky and her confidant, Michael Courtade, who was with the family during the last hours of Elaine's life.
