Eleanor (Nerino) Becker, 90, of Easton, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015 in Twining Village Nursing Home, Holland, PA. Eleanor was born in Bangor, PA, the youngest of 13 children; she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Concetta (Figlione) Nerino. Eleanor and her husband Samuel Becker celebrated 67 years of marriage last February 13. She was a Dietary Aide for Easton Hospital, Warren Hospital and other institutions, before retiring in 2010. She was also a sewing machine operator in the Bangor area for many years. She enjoyed playing poker and cards, belonging to different card groups in the Easton and Bangor areas, including traveling to casinos to play poker. Eleanor was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church. In addition to her husband, Eleanor is survived by her daughters Deborah Karner and husband Jeffrey of Solebury, PA, Patricia Flynn of Bloomsburg, PA; grandchildren Eric Karner, Sean Karner, Erin Flynn; great-grandchildren Samuel Karner, and Henry Karner. She is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
