Eleanor J. Dicker, 94, of Palmer Twp. passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Born on March 2, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Lemuel and Cecelia (Fagan) Carpenter. She graduated from Easton Catholic High School and worked as a kindergarten teacher and later as a type setter for Mack Printing for 19 years.

She was a member of St. Jane's Women's Group and Forks of the Delaware Serra Club. She enjoyed a good round of cards with her Pinochle Club. In her down time, Eleanor would garden, complete crossword puzzles or read. Her favorite genre was fiction, always selecting titles on the best seller's list. Eleanor loved to travel with her husband, especially to Hawaii.

Eleanor is survived by her sons, Howard Dicker and his companion, Lynn Germain of Pennsauken, NJ; Carl Dicker, Jr. and his wife, Deborah of Forks Twp.; daughters, Lynn Dicker of Taylor, PA; Valerie Walk and her companion, Kenneth Steward of Bushkill Twp.; Carla Shultz and her husband, John of Verona, WI; Margaret Tupper and her husband, Craig of Murrells Inlet, SC; Kyle Bauer and her husband, Chris of Quakertown; grandchildren, Jennifer, Kati, Michelle, Kelly, Ashley, Matthew, Michael, George; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Carl F. Dicker, Sr.; her two sisters and three brothers.

A calling hour will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am followed by interment at Gethsemane Cemetery, William Penn Hwy, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.)
