Born: She was born on February 21, 1918 in Groshowitz/Oberschlesien, Germany a daughter of the late Max and Martha Januschefski Matuschek. Personal: Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband Joseph in 2001. Memberships: Eleanor thoroughly enjoyed quilting, cooking and traveling, and was a member of the Colonial Quilters Guild in Bethlehem for many years. She spoke three languages fluently. Survivors: Eleanor is survived by daughters Lynda Smith of Palmerton, PA, Lorraine Latorraca of Oakland, CA and a granddaughter Nora Latorraca of Oakland, CA. A brother Wilhelm Matuschek preceded Eleanor in death. Services: Family and friends are invited to gather for a luncheon at the Glenmoor Clubhouse, Glenmoor Circle, Easton, PA, on Monday, May 9th at 12:00 noon.
