Eleanor M. Rinker, 92, of Fairfax, VA, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017 in Fair Oaks Hospital, Fairfax, VA.
Eleanor was born in Stroudsburg, PA, a daughter of the late Walter Cameron and Mabel (Bensley) Groner.
Eleanor was married to William N. Rinker before his passing in 1990. She was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1942. She was a Telephone Operator for Bell Telephone before retiring in 1989. She enjoyed bowling at Bar-Don Lanes, and playing cards, especially pinnacle and canasta.
Eleanor was a member of Palmer Moravian Church, where she was also a member of Rebecca Circle.
Eleanor is survived by her sons Robert W. Rinker and wife Virginia of Cold Spring, KY, Terry L. Rinker and wife Mary of Fairfax, VA; grandchildren Mark, James, Terry Jr., Kara, Mallory; great-grandchildren Aurelia, Maria, Julia, Lucas and Sho. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a brother Raymond Groner.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by a funeral service on Monday at 1:00 pm in the funeral home.
