Elizabeth "Betty" A. Snyder, 90, of Easton passed away Sunday October 7, 2018 at Old Orchard Nursing Home.

Born September 27, 1928 in Phillipsburg, NJ, Betty was a daughter of the late Charles and Emma (Taylor) Sutphin.

She was the owner and hair stylist at Betty Ann's Beauty Salon in NJ from 1967 until her retirement in 1991. She enjoyed writing poems and spending time with her family.

Betty is survived by three sons, Reginald B. Snyder and wife Geraldine of Palmer Twp., Rick Snyder and wife Edith of Warren County, NJ and Van Snyder of Pippersville, PA; two daughters, Nancy Snyder of Swoyersville, PA and Denise Hudnett and husband Brett of Ringoes, NJ, fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters Vesta Bill of Easton and Nancy Weiss of Easton.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018 from 10:00am to 12:00pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer twp.). A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00pm in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
