Elizabeth Betty Celia, 93, formerly of Forks Twp., PA, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2014 in Gracedale Nursing Home. Born: Betty was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late James and Anna (Bubba) Christopher. Personal: Betty is preceded in death by her first husband, Owen C. Shanks, and also her second husband, Louis Celia. She was a Sewing Machine Operator for the former Easton Trouser Co., and also the former Strongwear Pants Co., from where she retired many years ago. Memberships: Betty was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and the Sacred Heart Sodality. Survivors: Betty is survived by her daughters Anna M. DiSora and husband Ronald of Forks Twp., L. Jane Schoeneck and husband Enoch of Forks Twp.; grandchildren Tammy, Michael, Tara, Jennifer, David, Jonathan; and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to both her husbands, she is preceded in death by a daughter Marietta Celia; a sister Catherine Rutan; brothers Joseph and Paul Christopher. Services: A calling hour will be held on Monday from 8:45 am to 9:45 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA.
