Elizabeth Duane, 93, of Easton, PA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 in St. Lukes Hospital, Anderson.

Elizabeth was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, a daughter of the late Russell and Marie (Weber) Varner.

Elizabeth was married to William M. Duane before his passing in 2004. She handled the payroll for Lehigh Valley Railroad until retiring in the 1980s.

Elizabeth was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church and the Friendship Club of Bethlehem.

Elizabeth is survived by sons Barry W. Duane of Easton, William Duane and wife Jane of Bethlehem Twp.; a brother Russell Varner and wife Margaret of Hellertown; grandchildren Tara, Melanie, Billy, Brian, and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a brother Willard Varner.

A calling hour will be held on Friday from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in St. Janes Church Chapel, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in the church. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
