Elizabeth A. Fritzo, 88, of Easton, PA passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Warren Hospital in New Jersey. Born on December 20, 1936, in Easton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Catherine (Grant) Schurz.

She graduated from Easton High School in 1954. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Easton, PA. Elizabeth loved the beach, bowling, and playing bingo. You could always find her in her silliest moments sitting around a table playing cards with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed getting lost in a good book. No matter the weather or the day, Elizabeth was devoted to getting her daily newspaper and loved challenging herself with the daily crossword puzzle. As a devoted homemaker, she loved cooking for her family and being silly with them in a way that was shy and uniquely hers.

Elizabeth is survived by two daughters, Lisa Gaydos and her husband Joe, of Washington, NJ and Michelle Fritzo of Michigan; sisters, Katherine Concannon, Claire Mutter, and Jeanie Miller; brother, David Schurz; grandchildren, Ryan, Megan, and Eric; and great grandchildren, Madison, Kadance, Rylee, Zachary, Liam, and Quinn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews, whom she adored.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael Fritzo, son, Michael Fritzo, and brother-in-law, Gerry Mutter.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 330 Ferry Street, Easton, PA 18042. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Easton, PA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Elizabeth's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America 322 8th Avenue, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
