Elizabeth (Bette) Knapp, 70, of Palmer Twp., PA, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021 surrounded by family, after a long and brave battle with cancer.

Bette was born in Rahway, NJ, a daughter of the late Alberto and Maria DiGiorgio. She and her brothers Albert and Dominic enjoyed a childhood surrounded by extended family and delicious homemade food. She often dissolved into laughter remembering the times they spent together.

Elizabeth was married to Edward J. Knapp, Sr., with whom she celebrated 48 years of marriage last September. Together they built a wonderful and loving family and had the chance to create many beautiful homes over their 48 years.

Elizabeth is also survived by son Edward J. Knapp Jr., and wife Meghan; daughters Kristin Knapp, Jennifer O'Hara and husband Patrick. She was a loving "Nana" to her 5 grandchildren Olivia, Dominic, Michael and Sienna Knapp and Connor O'Hara.

She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her son, Brian Knapp who passed in January 2021.

Her happiest memories involved her family and they will remember her love and laughter each time they get together. She was a great cook and loved sharing her food and recipes with friends and family.

Bette had a wonderfully giving spirit, a big heart and a wide network of friends and colleagues who are better for having experienced her care, generosity and time.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:30 am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 1817 1st Street, Bethlehem, PA 18020 followed by a private cremation.
