Name: Elizabeth S. Knowlson, 71 of Palmer Twp., passed away on Friday April 13, 2012 in Easton Hospital, Wilson Boro. Born: She was born on March 2, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY a daughter of the late Harry and Carin Momquist Seagren. Personal: Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband George Blaco Knowlson Jr. in 1994. She was employed as a medical secretary for Dr. Terry Pundiak in Easton for many years retiring in 1995. Memberships: She was a member of Palmer Moravian Church in Palmer Twp. where she served as sacristan for several years, belonged to Chancel Choir and Sanctuary Ringers and volunteered visiting the shut-ins. Elizabeth also volunteered with tumor registry at Easton Hospital, was a member of Easton Senior Circle, and the Palmer Fire Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors: Elizabeth is survived by her son, Eric George Knowlson of Palmer Twp., daughter Karin Knowlson Vangeli of Palmer Twp., a brother Erik Seagren of St. Louis, Missouri and grandchildren Noah and Harrison Vangeli. Services: A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30am in Palmer Moravian Church, 2901 John St. Palmer Twp. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. Memorial Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church, 2901 John St. Easton, PA 18045 or to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PANCAN), 1500 Rosecrans Ave. Suite 200 Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 or to the Elizabeth S. Knowlson Fund, c/o TD Bank 2417 Park Ave. Easton, PA 18045, which provides aid to cancer patients with medications that they cannot afford.
