Elizabeth M. Mauro, 96, of Easton, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 21, 1927 in Easton to Ella (Stites) and Leroy Patterson. She was the wife of the late Joseph Mauro. She had been employed at Bushkill Park and Magnetic Windings before becoming a full-time stay at home mom to her five children.

She was a member of St. Anthony's of Padua Catholic Church. Her favorite past time was bingo.

Elizabeth is survived by daughters, Elizabeth Anne Sacco, and Maria Dodds; sons, Joseph Mauro, Jr., and Donald Mauro; grandchildren, Brandon, Shawn, Melanie, and Joseph Mauro III, Deidre Hakimi, Laura Bartolacci, and Roger Miller III; great grandchildren, Lorenzo and Raymond Bartolacci IV, Layla and Salvatore Hakimi.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Marlena Miller, a granddaughter, Melissa Sacco-Filaseta, and brothers, Leroy Patterson, Jr. and Donald Stites.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May, 31, 2023 from 8:15 AM until 9:15 AM at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton (Palmer Twp.) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 10:00 AM in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Ninth and Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA.
