Born: She was born on March 3, 1926 in Easton a daughter of the late Robert D. and Leah Jones. Personal: Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Ralph R. Mertz. She was the co-owner of the former Bing and Libbys Central Park Tavern in Bethlehem and previously was the co-owner of the K Bar on Freemansburg Ave. in Palmer Twp. and Cals Confectionary Store in Easton. Survivors: Elizabeth is survived by a brother Robert Jones of Houston, TX and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Elizabeth is preceded in death by sisters Katherine Kaye DAngelo Adams, Blodwen Mae Staples and a brother Elwood Tip Jones. Services: Graveside services will be held on Monday at 10:00am in Bethlehem Memorial Park, 1851 Linden St. Bethlehem.
