Elizabeth L. Protchko, 78, of Palmer Twp., passed away peacefully in St. Lukes Hospice House on Friday, July 14, 2017.

Elizabeth was born in West Hazleton, PA the daughter of the late Stanley and Elizabeth (Guydish) Jasinowski.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Emerson. She graduated from West Hazleton High School, class of 1956 and was last employed by Palmer Township as the zoning officer. Liz was an avid reader, loved flowers, and passing her time with crossword puzzles.

Elizabeth was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church.

Elizabeth is survived by daughter Tama Schmidt and her husband Francis of Lehman, PA and grandson Jeff Schmidt and wife Jolene; son Chris Protchko and wife Judy of Dillsburg, PA and granddaughters Shawna and Kalene; son Scott Protchko and wife Debra of Hellertown, PA and granddaughters Jordan and Callie. She is also survived by her sisters Mrs. John (Mary Ann) Kotecki of Baldwinsville, NY, Mrs. Roche (Anna Marie) Zefo of Davis, CA, Judith Wilson of Wilmington, DE; a brother Stanley Jasinowski of Fort Mill, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death a brother Joseph Yesenofski; sisters Sister Christine Marie (Patricia Jasinowski) and Theresa.

A calling hour will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Emerson and Elizabeth will be interred at Calvary Cemetery, Drums, PA.
