Biography Elizabeth Ann Marriott Riley (Betty), 75, of Palmer Twp., passed away in the arms of her children on Thursday, July 21, 2016 while in the care of St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem. Born in Pittston, PA on October 12, 1940, she was the eldest daughter of the late Edward R and Ruth C. (McAndrew) Marriott. Betty was married to Edmund H. Riley, with whom she celebrated 53 years of marriage on April 20. She was previously employed as an LPN at Gracedale Nursing Home, from which she retired after 25 years of service in 1998. Betty was a graduate of St. John the Evangelist High School, Pittston, Class of 1958. She received her Nurse's Training from St. Mary's School of Nursing, Scranton. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Easton.
