Name: Elizabeth Betty Lou Scrafano, 83, of Easton, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2013 in Gracedale Nursing Home. Born: Elizabeth was born in Phillipsburg, NJ, a daughter of the late Lewis and Beatrice (Oaks) Kreis. Personal: Elizabeth and her husband, Edward P. Scrafano, celebrated 64 years of marriage last July 25. She was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1948. She was a Teller for many years at Valley Federal Savings & Loan, before retiring in 1994. Prior to that, Betty was co-proprietor of the former Kens Delicatessen of Easton. Memberships: Elizabeth was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Survivors: In addition to her husband, Elizabeth is survived by her sons Edward C. Scrafano and wife Sharon of Stockertown, Gary Scrafano and wife Glynnis of MacDonalds Corner, Ontario, Canada; daughter Donna Scrafano of Bethlehem; daughter-in-law Nancy Parnell Scrafano of Palmer Twp.; sisters Doris Gerstenberg of Wilson Boro, Deborah Coley of Boston, MA; grandchildren Kimberly Scrafano, Cheryl Getz, Jamie Howey, Amy Jo Howey, Edward Howey, Ronald Scrafano, Jr., Lauren Scrafano, Corbeau Scrafano; great-grandchildren Mariah, Jaziah, Alexis, Aaliyah, Quincy, Lucas, and Jayden. She is preceded in death by a son Ronald Scrafano, Sr. Services: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also Wednesday from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
