Emanuel Manny Cappello, 100, formerly of Palmer Twp. passed away Friday, April 8th, 2016 in the Easton Home. He was born March 3, 1916 in NY,NY a son of the late Joseph and Barbara Cappello.

Emanuel was the proprietor of the former C & M Dress Company of Easton for many years before retiring in 1976. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton, the American Legion Brown and Lynch Post 9 in Palmer Twp., the Order Sons of Italy in America and a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus Union Council 345 in Easton. He served in US Army during WWII at which time he received the Purple Heart Medal.

In addition to his parents Emanuel is preceded in death by his wife Bessie in 2006. He is survived by his children Samuel Cappello and wife Sandra of Phillipsburg, NJ, Joseph Cappello and wife Marilyn of Tennessee, grandchildren; Joseph, Robert, Christine, Michelle, Tricia, Debra, Kirby, Percy, Helena, Maya, Violet, ten great grandchildren and a sister Clara Steckel of Palmer Twp, nephews Bob Steckel and Steve Steckel, and a niece Barbara Marinelli.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 8 am until 10 am followed by prayer services at 10 am in the Morello Funeral Home Inc. 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, (Palmer Twp), PA. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery Palmer Twp.
