Emerson J. Protchko of Palmer Township passed away on October 31st peacefully at home. Born: Emerson was born in Hazleton, Pa. son of the late John and Susan (Tarapchak) Protchko. Personal: Emerson and his wife, the former Elizabeth Yesenofski, celebrated 55 years of marriage this past July. He graduated from Hazleton High School class of 1955 and was last employed by Gardner Cryogenics. Memberships: Emerson was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Emerson is survived by daughter Tama Schmidt and husband Fran of Lehman, Pa., sons Chris Protchko and wife Judy of Dillsburg, Pa., Scott Protchko and wife Debra of Hellertown, Pa., grandson Jeff Schmidt and granddaughters Shawna, Jordan, Kalene and Callie Protchko. He is also survived by sisters Dolores Lazur of Coplay, Pa., and Pat Breshock and husband Bernard, Hazleton, Pa. and nieces and nephews. Services: A gathering will be held on Saturday, November 8th at 10:00 a.m. at Morello Funeral Home, 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, Pa.
