Estella "Stella" Amaya Frutchey, 86, passed away peacefully and surrounded by loving family on December 3rd, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest Campus, Allentown, PA.

Estella was born in San Antonio, Texas, a daughter of the late Margarito and Josefina (Flores) Amaya. She was a high school graduate of Providence Catholic High School, in San Antonio, Texas. Estella was a telephone operator for many years at Southwestern Bell of Texas, Bell of PA, and most recently Warren Hospital, where she retired in 2001.

Estella was a member of Saint Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Easton, PA, U.R.W. Club (You are Welcome Club), and Women's Social Club of Easton, PA. She enjoyed spending time with her family, giving back to her community, and helping others.

Estella is survived by two children; a son Eric E. Frutchey, and his wife Michelle, of NY, a daughter Karen Kemmerer and her husband Ricky, of Palmer Twp.; five grandchildren: Dylan, Garrett, Kerena, Julia, Madalyn, and one great grandchild: Kinsley. She is also survived by a brother Joseph Amaya, of San Antonio, TX. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother
Manuel Amaya and sister Theresa Brown, of San Antonio, TX.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, December 17th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., 9th and Lehigh Street, Easton, PA.
