Working closely with Msgr. Robert Forst and Father Francis Barbato, he served as Building Chairman, worked tirelessly on the annual festival, and served on the financial advisory committee. He energetically worked on fundraising for both the parish and the Angelic Sisters of St. Paul. He was a founding board member of the Antonian Tower, a vital facility for members of St. Anthony's parish. In 1982, he was St. Anthony of Padua Holy Name Society's "Man of the Year". Through all the different services, he had proven to be a committed and dedicated member of the St. Anthony community.
Gino was a Third Degree Knight of The Knights of Columbus. He was the one of the founders and organizers for ProJeCt of Easton Inc., a multi-denominational organization for which he also served as President of the Board. Gino was appointed to serve on the Prison Board in 1974 and served on many different committees for 23 years. He played an essential role in developing the first work release program.
