Name: Europa "Tutu" Faasuamalie, 71, Our beloved Mother and Grandmother (Tutu), went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 7, 2009. "Tutu's" spirit and love for God and Family will forever live in our hearts. Born: "Tutu" was born on February 18, 1938 in Saleaumua, Western Samoa, a daughter of the late Some and Siloge (Sili-Luafalealo) Sagapolutele. Personal: "Tutu" moved with her family to Hawaii in 1974 and lived there for twenty-eight years until she moved to Pennsylvania in 2002. "Tutu's" husband Vasa M. died earlier this year, on May 2, 2009. Prayer: May the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock, and my Redeemer (Psalm 19:14). Memberships: "Tutu" faithfully attended Faith Community Assembly of God Church in Palmer Township. Survivors: "Tutu" is survived by a son Vasa and his wife Pam; She has many surviving nieces and nephews in California, Hawaii, New Zealand and Utah; Grandchildren Colby, Paige and Isabella. In addition to her husband; sisters: Suluia Ioane, Tausala Lautuno, Tulili Laban, and brothers: Siu Sagapolutele, Iosia Matila and Sa Matila, have all preceded her in death. Funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 12PM in the Faith Community Assembly of God Church, 3000 Freemansburg Ave, Easton, PA 18045.
