Eva L. Calandra, 92 of Forks Twp., passed away Sunday January 5, 2014 in Old Orchard Manor Care, Bethlehem Twp.

Born : She was born on September 2, 1921 in Easton a daughter of the late Ervin and Eslie Sherrer Derr.

Personal: Eva was preceded in death by her husband Leo Calandra, Sr. in 1994. She enjoyed knitting, gardening and cooking, especially her German meat pies.

Memberships: She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Easton.

Survivors: Eva is survived by her sons Andy and wife Maria Calandra of Forks Twp., Richard and wife June Calandra of Cresco, Leo and wife Marie Calandra of Bethlehem Twp.; daughter Rose Marie and husband Richard Klein of Bangor; sisters Esther Kaiser of Nazareth, Blanche Remaly of Raubsville, Ruth Smith of Easton; grandchildren Robert Heller, Harrison Heller, Lorie Olexson, Marla Calandra, Steven Calandra, Jeffery Calandra, Carmen Rasmussen, Janelle Calandra, Joshua Calandra; great grandchildren Robert Jr., Brittany, Leo, Tappanga, Anthony, Dominick, Chloe, Hailey, Gabriele, Kayla, Christopher, Autumn, Amber, Marco, David Jr., Aleyna, Morgan, Allegra, Alissia and a great great granddaughter, Makayla. Eva is preceded in death by her sisters Mary, Joyce, Margaret, Anna, and brothers Jim, Jacob, Ervin and Arthur.

Services: A calling hour will be held on Thursday from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 12:00 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
