Evan Wayne Wismer, 76, of Palmer Twp. passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Northampton Post Acute nursing facility. Born on May 26, 1948 in Wilson, PA, he was the son of the late Harvey George Wismer, Jr. and Helen Louise (Cyphers) Wismer.

He graduated from Easton High School and enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard, serving from 1967 to 1971. He was employed by Harvel Plastics for 47 years and retired as the Sr. Vice President. Evan was a member of New Creation UCC, American Legion #9, Tall Cedars of Lebanon and F & AM Easton Lodge No. 152 Grand Lodge of PA. He served as the past master and chevalier for Order of DeMolay Hue de Paines Chapter.

During his leisure time, Evan enjoyed being outdoors. He loved to fish, hunt, golf or travel in an RV to camp. His treasured time was with his grandchildren.

Evan is survived by his son, Evan Wismer, Jr. and his wife, Jamie of Palmer Twp.; daughter, Michelle Moore and her husband, Isaac of Fredrick, MD; brother, Earl Wismer and his wife, Bonnie of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Aaron, Alexander, Maxwell, Aurelia, Addilyn, Avery, and Levi.

In addition to his parents, Evan was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Lillie Mae (Harden) Wismer who passed in October, 2024.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Green Pond Road, Palmer Twp.
