Evelyn M. Fallos, 91, of Bethlehem, passed away on April 19, 2022, at Moravian Village Skilled Nursing Facility. Evelyn had been a resident of Moravian Village Independent Living for the past two years. She was the wife of George Fallos, who passed away in 2009. Born in Youngstown, OH, on July 18, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Homyak) and John Yasen.
Over the years, Evelyn worked for several retail facilities in the Lehigh Valley that specialized in furniture and home decor. Evelyn had a flair for interior design and loved helping people with creative ideas. She was a graduate of East High School in Youngstown, OH. She was a member of Grace Church of Bethlehem and was very proud of a trip she took with the church in 2018 to The Holy Land. This was Evelyn's first time out of the United States at 88 years of age. She also loved to meet with the Ya Ya's socially which was formed from a church bible study group. The group shared a close bond. Additionally, Evelyn loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a beloved grandmother.
Evelyn is survived by her three children, Cynthia Alpaugh and her husband, William, of Bethlehem, PA, Jonathan Fallos and his wife, Kris, of Easton, PA, and Deborah Pickering and her husband, Jerry, of UT; seven grandchildren, Adrianna, Alexa, William (wife Raegan), Konner, Joshua, Kaley and Rachel (husband Juan); and brother, Edward Evaniuk (wife Judee) of OH. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a great grandson, Wyatt McGrath and her sisters, Pearl Meckulch, Irene Naypaver, and Mary "Murph" DeMain.
Calling hours are Monday, April 25, 2022, from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St., Easton (Palmer Twp.), PA.
