Filippa Mammana, 73, of Easton passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023 surrounded by family. Born on January 6, 1950 in Castel di Lucia, Sicily, she was the daughter of the late Placido and Francesca (Billone) Viglianti. She was a sewing machine operator for 17 years at the former Avante Textiles of Easton before becoming a custodian for the Easton Area School district. After her retirement in 2014, she enjoyed baking, knitting, and spending time with family. She was a former member of The San Placido Society and an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

Filippa is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Liborio Mammana; son, Giuseppe Mammana and his wife, Alissa of Pittsburgh, PA; daughter, Caterina Koehler and her husband, Brian of Washington Twp., PA; grandchildren, Briella, Liborio, Marcus, Anna, Dina; sister, Giuseppina Patti and her husband, Santo of Cavriglia, Providence of Arezzo, Italy.

In addition to her parents, Filippa was preceded in death by her daughter, Francesca Mammana.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 8:15 am until 9:15 am at Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Nineth and Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA followed by interment at St. Anthony's Cemetery.
