Frances A. Boccella, 81, of Tannersville, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 in Manor Care Nursing Home, Palmer Twp, PA.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA, a daughter of the late Joseph F. and Salvatrice M. (Caliri) Valvo.

Frances was married to John S. Boccella, until his passing in 1984. She worked in banking for over 46 years, until retiring in 2008. She loved animals, especially her cats. She enjoyed discussing politics, and loved reading, singing, and photography.

She was a member of the Sons of Italy.

Frances is survived by her daughters Donna McKenzie and husband Mark of Macungie, Dina Murray of Easton; grandchildren Mark (Jessica), Kristina (Michael), Kenny (Anna), Nicholas (Shelby), Nicole (Brandon), John (Julie); great-grandchildren Tyse, Brandy, Jenevieve, Byson, Ashton, Beckett, and Emberly. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a brother Vincent J. Valvo.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
