Francesca "Frances" C. Ferraro, 101, of Easton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 in New Eastwood Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Frances was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Joseph and Stefana (Boscia) Frinzi.
Frances was married to Raymond A. Ferraro until his passing in 1961. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, the Golden Age society of St. Anthony's Church where she arranged many tours for her fellow members of Golden Age for over 30 years. She volunteered as a Democratic party pole worker for over 50 years. Frances was an excellent cook and baker; she was always welcoming and gracious. She wouldn't let you leave until you ate something.
Frances is survived by sons Angelo and wife Joanne of Palmer Twp., Raymond and wife Sharon of Allentown, Robert and wife Jeanne of Palmer Twp., Edward and wife Christine of Pawleys Island, SC; a daughter Joanne Dolla and husband Harry of Easton; 25 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren, with one on the way. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her son Joseph Ferraro; her sisters Nancy Varconi, Fannie Drago, Anna Reil; brothers Aber, Tori, Joseph, John, and Sonny Frinzi.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp), with an additional calling hour on Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in the funeral home. Due to COVID-19, we still need to practice social distancing, therefore, we will be limiting visitation to 25 rotating people at a time in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 10:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9 th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. There is a limit of up to 80 people in attendance at the church. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Williams Twp. Online condolences may be offered at www.morellofuneralhome.com.
