Frances Finateri, 98, a resident of Country Meadows of Forks Township, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2019.

Born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on June 23, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Herminegilde Gullford Liard and Mary F. (Holmes) Liard.

Frances was the wife of the late Edward J. Finateri for 67 years until his passing in 2012.

She was a 1979 graduate of Fulton Montgomery Community College, earning her Associates in Business.

Frances worked as bank teller with several banks before retiring from Gloversville Federal Savings and Loan in 1981.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Johnstown, NY. She was also an active member of the Johnstown Gloversville YMCA, the Senior Citizen's Center of Johnstown, and the Coterie Club. In her early 90's, she also delivered for Meals on Wheels.

Frances enjoyed many hobbies, such as swimming, playing bridge, painting and reading.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Diane, and her husband, Frank Keenan. She is also survived by her two granddaughters: Kelly, wife of Michael Mineo, and Kara, wife of Marc Singley; and her great-children: Matthew, Danny, and Julia Mineo; and Erin and Allison Singley.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Stone, and her brother, James Liard.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
