Francesca Garofalo, 84, of Easton, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 in her home.

Francesca was born in Altofonte, province of Palermo, Sicily, Italy. A daughter of the late Salvatore and Carolina (DiMatteo) DiGirolamo.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She worked as a seamstress in Switzerland and USA for various years.  Francesca was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, in Easton. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, and dedicated her time and heart to her family.

Francesca is survived by her children, Joseph Natale Garofalo, of Lower Saucon Township, Alda Houser, of Easton, PA; granddaughter, Katherine Mary Garofalo, of New York City; sisters, Maria LoNigro and family of Italy, Rosa Rohr and her husband, Heinz, and family, of Switzerland, Sarina Pileri and her husband, Nino, and family; brothers, Pino DiGirolamo and his wife, Rosa, and family, Nino DiGirolamo and his wife, Linda, and family, all of the Lehigh Valley; in-laws, Giovanni DeLuca and family, Maria Vetri and family, Salvatore and Amelia Garofalo and family, Carmelo and Maria Garofalo and family, Eugenio & Mariolina Garofalo and family, all of Italy.

Francesca was predeceased by her loving husband, Rosario Garofalo, whom passed away in 2014.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA. Additional Calling hour will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022, at 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on May 9, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 900 Washington Street, Easton, PA 18042. Interment will be private for the family.
