Francesca "Frances" Murgia, 94, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022, with her daughter by her side, in ProMedica Nursing Home, Easton, PA. Born in Castel di Lucio, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Maria Teresa (Alercia) Ludicello. She was the wife of the late Michael Murgia whom passed in 1984.

She worked as a seamstress until she retired in 1984. Francesca was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening.

Francesca is survived by her son, Peter Murgia and his wife, Wendy, of Melbourne, FL; her daughter, Josephine Conrad and her husband, Steven, of Easton, PA; five grandchildren, Steven Conrad, Stephanie Conrad, Michael Murgia, Samantha Murgia, and Gavin Murgia.

Calling hours are Monday, April 25, 2022 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, (Palmer Twp.) PA 18045. A Mass of Christian Burial will also be on April 25, 2022 at 12:00 pm in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery.
