Francesca Sacco, 96, of Easton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in her home.

Francesca was born in Castel di Lucio Messina, Sicily, a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria (DAngelo) Iacono.

Francesca was married to Vincenzo Sacco before his passing in 1996. She was a sewing machine operator for the Northampton Pants Factory in Easton for many years. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing.

Francesca was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and The Circolo SanPlacido Society.

Francesca is survived by her sons Giuseppe Sacco of Castel di Lucio, Italy, Salvatore Sacco and wife Betty of Easton; daughters Maria Calantoni and husband Placido of Williams Twp., Rosalia Calantoni and husband Joe of Nazareth; a sister Lucia Battaglia of Italy; 13 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a daughter Placida Sacco.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Saturday from 10:45 am to 11:45 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 12:30 pm in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
