Frank A. Maviglia, 89, of Easton, PA, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014 in his home. Born: Frank was born in Jersey City, NJ, a son of the late Antonio and Angelica (Scerbo) Maviglia. Personal: Frank and his wife the former Dolores DAlessandro, celebrated 62 years of marriage last October 13. He was a wood maker, cabinet maker and a dry cleaner. Frank served his country in the US Army during World War II as a Corporal serving in the following battles: North Apennines, Po Valley, Rome-Arno and Southern France. Memberships: Frank was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by sons Anthony Maviglia and wife Kim of Plainfield, IL, Robert Maviglia and wife Joyce of Newton, NJ; daughters Patricia Mohr and husband Bill of Blairstown, NJ, Laura Glinka and husband Ken of Pipersville, PA, Judith Thaon and husband Jack of Staten Island, NY; a sister Fay Esposito of Queens Village, NY; a brother Joseph Maviglia of Moorestown, NJ; grandchildren Stephanie Doren, Lindsey Dietiker, Nicholas, Emily, and Robert Mohr, Elizabeth and Alexandra Glinka, Hillary Thaon Rodriguez, James Thaon; great-grandchildren Matthew and Rachel Doren, JT and Ryan Dietiker. He is preceded in death by his sisters Theresa Gucciardi, Yolanda Pirozzi, and Gloria Maviglia. Services: Calling hours will be held on Monday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also on Tuesday from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Bernards Oratory, 132 S. 5th Street, Easton. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
