Gaetan E. Piscitello, 68, of Easton, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021 in St. Luke's Fountain Hill, Bethlehem.

He was the son of Jessie Barbone and the late Eugene Piscitello who passed away in December of 2008.

Gaetan was the owner of Piscitello's Home Center and a member of the Holy Cross Society.

Gaetan (Gaetano without an o), Gator, and Vinny Boombatz was as unique a man as many the names he answered to. His passions included fast cars and boats and playing poker. He and Linda shared an enthusiasm for landscaping and gardening. They spent many years refurbishing their home. Gaetan was the owner of Piscitello's Home Center and began his life-long career at 14. Working beside his father Gene, Gaetan quickly became the pivotal figure at the Home Center. Gaetan had an inquisitive and brilliant mind. He delighted in his ability to resolve any problems related to a mechanical or construction concern. He was a friend to many and was always available to his loyal customers who sought his expert advice and knowledge. Over the years, he became a guru to all that frequented the store. His work ethic was unparalleled.

Gaetan's health deteriorated quickly over the last two months. He was a true warrior in every sense of the word. His bravery was never more evident than in the last year. He will be forever missed by all who love him. He was… perfectly imperfect.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Susan (Coulter) Piscitello; a son, Geno Piscitello; daughters, Leah Holschwander and husband Chad, and Lindsey M. Piscitello and husband Harley; sisters, Rosalie Carr and husband Gary, and Diana Dreher and husband Don; a brother, Bruce Piscitello; and granddaughters, Bella, Emily, Ava, and Olivia.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A funeral service will be held at 5:00 pm in the funeral home. At the request of the family, everyone must wear a mask before entering.
