Gaetana "Gay" Gloria DiGirolamo, 79, of Easton, PA passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at St. Luke's VNA Hospice House, in Bethlehem surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Soccorso and Angelina ( Butto) Corpora.

Gaetana was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1959. She was a proprietor of Pino and Nino's Restaurant, Pino's Pizzeria and snackbar, Pizza D'oro, Gaetano's in lower Nazareth and Southmore Golf Course. In her younger years she worked in the Garment industry for Mr. Pants.

She enjoyed cooking for people, going to New York, trying different restaurants, she was an avid cookbook collector with over 500 cookbooks in her collection. She was happiest when she could make others happy, she enjoyed spending any free time she could with family and friends.

Gaetana is survived by her companion Valerie McClanahan of 50 years, sons Salvatore and his wife Cheri DiGirolamo, of Palmer Township, Michael DiGirolamo, of Palmer Twp., Joseph DiGirolamo Jr., of Palmer Township, 3 grandchildren Nicola Giuseppe, Juliana DiGirolamo, and Luca DiGirolamo, a great grandchild Andre, sisters Cathy McAvoy, Frances Corpora, brothers Joseph Corpora, and Soccorso Corpora. She is preceded in death by sisters Bessie Fischer and Millie Corpora, a brother Placido Corpora.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and also Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. in Morello Funeral Home, Inc. 3720 Nicholas Street Easton, PA 18045. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in Morello Funeral Home, Inc. Entombment will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Williams Twp., PA.
